~Carhartt's Gallery~

Dear visitors,
welcome to my first gallery.
First it must be mentioned, that i started with PhotoShop CS3 2 weeks ago. I know that i am a bloody beginner and that i have to learn a lot of things for becoming better.
I would be pleased if you guys could give me some hints how to improve the pictures. But if you you give me a hint explain it very detailed  ;).
My pictures aren't very professional, so please do not flame me for it.

I'd like a sig aswell once you have time, with some cool color; orange, red, pink or something, not any boring gray.

Wata, use google. There isn't a guide for all. You have to learn it step-by-step.
First you could search for a tutorial with contains the basics, then search for text effects, collet some nice brushes and fonts. And try out your own signature.
You have to try, try and try.  ;) I hope i helped you a bit, if you have questions PM me.

Watti - just because you got c4d, 100 brushes and 100 colors, it doesn't mean that a signature is nice and 1337. It still has to look good together, without having 10000 effects that looks shit together.
In my opinion Carhatt makes some nice sigs, even if he doesnt use brushes, he still makes some nice effects and they all look simple and neat. Also, the animation in it looks pretty good.

Height should be 100 pixel or less.. Width is normally (for my sigs) 500 pixel or around there..

Yeah.. Macromedia Fireworks is an alright graphic program.. You can make sigs in it as well.
