I thought it'd be interesting to share this..
Also, if this counts as 'piracy, etc' just lock/remove the topic, that's fine with me.
Simply, there's this site.. Well multiple but this one in particular that let's you watch almost ANY TV show you want, for free. You don't download anything, you don't violate any laws, you just click on a link and it streams any episode of any season of any show you like.

Family Guy? Type it in.
Game of Thrones? Type it in.
Sons of Anarchy? Type it in.
etc.
I personally like the idea of being able to CHOOSE what to watch, instead of sitting on a couch, watching a screen and stuff being handed to you on a silver plate, without knowing what it is. And this way you are able to follow a show on your own tempo, instead of having to sit infront of the TV at that specific time or else you'll miss it..

No clue what it is in in Holland, but here you can record and rewind TV episodes.

Sweet, it has most the crap that doesn't come on these days, no Silverwing, but that's on youtube so it isn't that bad
It has Skyland, I'm pretty happy about that, looked for years to find this series to watch, you just made my day :D

By law, I think we're allowed too.. But same as for this site, distributing it is a crime. How this site manages to stand... I don't know but they're doing a good job :razz:

That site is really good! I use it to watch stuff like Hawai Five-O and such. Linking is not illegal in Holland, so yeah.

I watch Swamp people on there all the time. Great site.

A reason TV's are still useful is when internet lines take 1 hour for 100mb to stream..
I can't even imagine how long it would take for me to watch one program online like that. :lol:

Personally I've quit watching to the TV since like 6-7 years ago.. It's just useless.. There's 100% buillshit news channels(Like for Greek 'Star Channel') and brainwash from every channel wanting to pass their message... I just watch movies with my friends which we mostly rent and enjoy on Blue-Ray players with full HD tvs..

I don't even call it a TV anymore, I just call it a screen. I watch all football games on Sopcast via Computer, get all movies free from the web etc. The TV in Greece is useless unless you can afford 39e p/m. Should I feel guilty, not a chance..

I pay over 39 euro a month for internet, and it's slow as hell.. :(

Why do these piracy websites make TV "unnecessary"?
Do you understand that without actual TV, these shows would not get made at all?
It's like saying that because you can download a game for free, game stores are "unnecessary".
I'm actually having trouble putting into words how dumb the topic title is.

The site also seems to find the servers which are near for me so good speed + performance.. +2

The problem lies in some tv series/programmes are not even being broadcast in every country, thus there's no way you can obtain them legally. Therefore, these sites are needed not for breaching copyrights, but for watching stuff that would not be available in another way.
