First question is how on earth do these people get their hands on such weaponry like grenades? :trust:

In the UK, I have no clue but it's very worrying.
It's very sad that someone could bring themselves to kill two innocent police officers who were responding to just another call. It could have been any officer in the area that could have been killed it just happened to be those two.
I salute them both for their bravery and wish justice upon the person responsible.

Now a day's is easy to get a hold on probably anything you want.
But this attack shows that policeman are getting srsly outgunned in the fight agains crime.
If this keeps up like this in a few years policeman will start carring bazucas in their car.

From Boris the Blade, probably.

If the police have any sense they will launch an enquiry into what happened. Something more needs to be done about officer safety in the UK. A baton, stab proof vest and CS spray is not enough against armed suspects. I think tasers need to be more common.
But you have to remember that this is a very rare occurance as gun crime is not that big over here, it's still an issue though. So is officer safety.

Of course they launched an inquiry about this... and there's not much more that can be done to improve the safety of police officers considering the country can only cut the amount of money they're spending on stuff now, or shift it around to more important areas

From what i have heard policeman in Britain are often conseling their weapon from the public.

Usually the whole point of having a weapon for officers is to make it visible and to reassure the public. You are probably thinking about the movies where James Bond has a pistol in his jacket, that's not real life.
The armed police that you will see around here will be like in the picture on the left with a firearm accessible on their leg or utility belt.

British police officers say they do not want guns, but with shit like this happening.. :war:
I feel sorry for the 2 that got killed and their family's, people are pathetic these days.
-
What makes me mad about these incidents is the type of humans who do their thing and then hand themselves in without objection.
Attacking unarmed police officers, how pathetic.
May they both rest in peace.

Yes exactly, they go out and kill some innocent police officers then surrender without a hastle, complete bullshit.
What was the point in doing if your just going to surrender right off?
-
Yeah, it should be more like in SA:MP, you don't surrender till your hp is at 1% after having killed 5 officers, not 2. That's much better. [/sarcasm]
Sorry to hear about this, though.
