Introduction
Argonath Traffic Police is a un-official independent ARPD Subdivision which aims on monitoring, supervising and enforcing traffic.
Our goal and vision is to keep the roads of Argonath safe. We believe that everyone must obey the traffic laws, regardless if it's a citizen or it's a law enforcement representitive.
Usually we perform organised patrols with an aim to punish traffic violators.
We also have other duties than just supervising traffic. We deal with illegally parked cars and we're also trying to prevent illegal towing of FBI vehicles.
We respond to high risk operations only if requested by SAPD authorities or if 10-0's/c30's are called. We mainly focus on traffic.
We operate state wide.
History
Argonath Traffic Police has been officialy confirmed at the date of 2011, July 18th. It has been opened by Maxwell Rogers and Damon Moore. We felt an urge that Argonath needs this kind of group, because most of the police staff is busy with high risk operations, therefor they dont have enough time to deal with traffic. Our division was mainly focused on traffic enforcement, and we responded only to C30's and 10-0's. ARTP has later been split into LSTP, LVTP and SFTP, but due to lack of staff, those subdivisions were later closed.
ARTP has been well known as "the teacher of the rookies". New players that joined ARTP came out of it as professional officers, and some of them are still serving in SAPD.
Argonath Traffic Police has been closed on October 31 due to grand opening of BCSD.
We have decided to re-open ARTP on 14th of July, 2012.

In order to join ARTP, you must be a proper driver, know traffic laws and speed limits, have atleast basic knowledge of ARPD Regulations, be willing to learn and dedicate your time.
We allow everyone to join, regardless the date you joined or your rank.

Due to recent SAPD reformation we highly encourage you to check in with your supervisors before joining.
