HALO 4
The newest saga of the Halo franchise
Publisher: Microsoft
Developer: 343 Industries
Trailer: E3 Reveal (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9iQiHNXgMU#ws) and Live Action (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XG6mmCF8gk8#ws)

Starting off 4 years chronologically (5 years in real life) after the events of Halo 3, UNSC Spartan-II John-117 and AI Cortana, as UNSC Frigate 'Forward Unto Dawn' (By the way, Microsoft recently released the first episode for the web series 'Forward Unto Dawn' - first episode here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfJVgXBfSH8) and trailer here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ca3Y8Ws3plI)) picks them up from the wreckage of their UNSC craft.

Chief finds himself primarily on the artificial forerunner planet of 'Requiem' and we explore this new world with the now presumed rampant Cortana (Personal opinion). An old evil awakens apparently, and shits about to go down. Again.

Am I looking forward to this? Well yeah, I'm a Halo fanboy and I love the universe. Any attempt to expand it and provide me with more material is great, am I excited for the game itself? Not at all. It's not because it's being developed by 343, a branch of Microsoft, but because I feel it should have ended with Halo 3 or Reach (ODST should have happened anyways). I guess I wouldn't mind if Halo 4 was going to be the end, again, but it's not. 343/Microsoft have publicly claimed that Halo 5 and 6 are going to be released and to be frank, this just makes me sad. It feels as though we have another Starwars milking scenario on our hands, but that's just my opinion, I'm going to be preordering the limited edition copy anyway (love the art style for the box). The art director has said they are going for a more 'mature' feel to explore the differing story and forerunner tech, but to me, it looks more like Crysis or Metroid instead of Halo. It's not so much a Halo game, as much as a future sci-fi shooter with Halo slapped onto the box. (IMO)

Opinions!?

Never found the game very attractive both for storyline and graphics.. This one looks good though.

Haven't played it, but can expect a good amount of anticipation.

There are a lot of adverts for it I noticed. More than many other games that have come out recently.
