Hi all
Just got a new PC, and I just installed GTA IV.
But I am getting #¤%&%## ass laggspikes, whenever I turn my mouse (browsing new areas/spotting other cars, etc)
Take a look at this test i took at "system requirements lab" for GTA IV

make sure try other games with similar graphic, to make sure it's not something wrong inside your computer, if it's new ; d it happens sometimes you know

If you are using a GPU from ASUS and got ASUS drivers installed, i suggest you to uninstall those drivers and install directly from nVidia.
I first installed ASUS drivers when i got my computer, and it messed up my computer big time. I was trying to find the source of the problem for several months before i realised it was the drivers. As soon as i installed nVidia drivers instead, everything got 10 times better.

GPU is the mainboard right?
It's a MSI Military class mainboard :D
-
GPU - Graphics Processing Unit - Graphics Card.

Update GTA IV to latest version (you need all updates, version 1 to 7 etc..) then it'll be fine..
First default version.. actually until 4th update it's laggy.. 4th version is actually the best.

Oh yes, download GTA IV 1.0.7.0 Update.
