Title: PSP vs DS
Post by: Watahell on October 15, 2007, 02:21:46 am
Okay, pretty much like the PS3/Wii/XBOX360 poll I thought too about the portables.

Tell me what you think.  ;)

Ok Mike, if you insist, I am a proud owner of a PSP :D

PSP: über greater screen, sound system ftw (4 speakers if I'm not mistaken) If you have a psp, you don't need an Ipod.:
Like petey said, GTA portable :D

Bad things: So many remakes of PS2 games, short battery. Dead Pixels (so far I haven't a single one, cuz I'm lucky)

DS: Touchscreen, nice games.

Bad things: The touchscreen is fragile, sometimes you can't pay attention to both screens. The same dead pixel problem happens.

I played both before buying. So I decided to take the PSP.

@ PS2P

Dude, it's just a PSP with double ram, 33% lighter, X% slimmer. The games are the same lol. It's pretty much a slim version of PSP, the RAM increase will be noticed mostly when loading umds.

(And sorry for the piracy talk, please please forgive me:) I'm not sure if PS2P will be downgradeable as the normal one is, you would have to wait for someone discover it. (Mine is downgraded and has a CFW installed, but don't follow my piracy path!!!)

KNP!

Whitehall look at the pic of the ps2p - its just a shitty portable ps2, and looks like a spoof- hes not talking about the new PSP slimline!

The fact is, the only thing you can do on A DS is play DS games with the touch screen.

>>> My PSP can play DS games also, without touchscreen. I have the possibility of playing PS1 games on it also. I have Sega nintendo and other emulators running on it. The graphics on PSP are so much better, so good infact that it is able to play movies, and some PS3 titles using the new PSP connect function. There is so much a PSP can do, in comparison to a nintendo DS, I dont know how you can compare.
