Probably a topic like this already, but I don't want to look for it!
As the title suggests, say what your job is, or what you do/study!
I'm a Test Analyst for a company called Capgemini, though I did a 3 month intensive course on Object-Orientated Programming, so I'm also an "Oracle Certified
Associate (OCA) Java
SE7 Programmer"!
The full training course involved:
- Java SE7
- SQL
- HTML, Javascript and CSS (those in the know will see why I put them next to each other!)
- Drinking lots of coffee
For those interested...you've got a few stages of testing. You hear most about beta testing, but I'm near the other end of the scale.
I'm mainly a Functional System Tester following the waterfall approach...though the Wikipedia description does not match what I do totally!
In reality I trace every step through...following a Test Design I have previously planned and written to ensure I miss nothing.
I'm part of the Aspire project, to get more information search "Capgemini Aspire" into Google and you'll find it soon enough.
So, if something needs to be tested...don't ask me (didn't expect that did you?)! I do enough at work, without doing it in my own time as well!
Your turn! ;)

SQL is my best friend right now...I collect a lot of evidence with spool files!
My project is shown by my display picture! That's who we make the software for!

Awfully specific. Is that actually what your subject is called or is it part of larger studies of Physics/Chemistry

We have other related subjects too and these subjects are obligatory; some of these are mathematics, organic/inorganic/analytical chemistry, physics (mechanics/thermodynamics/electromagnetism/optics) &c. On the other hand we have a number of subjects that we can choose from depending on our taste and what we are interested in, and this helps us shape our studies and select a field to work in. I really like quantum and nuclear physics, and have so far picked subjects that are relevant to those fields; that and other optional subjects are not very interesting to me (e.g. biochemistry, ecology, statistics, and pedagogy, which I suppose is for people who want to work in schools). To answer your question: yes, for the most part.

Yeah that's what I mean't. So basically we will be future colleagues. The difference between us though is our second subject. Yours is chemistry while mine is mathematics. Other than that I as well am more oriented in Quantum, Particle, Relativistic Physics. Currently writing my thesis on Tachyon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tachyon) to get my BSc.

Currently training to be a certified mechanic. Within 2 months I'll be fully certified and then I begin my certification training for diesel and industrial engines, specifically Cummins.

The course covers a whole range of topics from basic C up to Theoretical Computing.
