unfortunatly no :(

Try this:
1) Turn off Limewire
2) Turn off ANY Background program(FYI: MSN, AIM, Yoohoo Yahoo, WinAMP, etc)
3) Run your virus scanner for a day(when you dont wanna play)
4) Run your Anti-Spyware/Mal-ware Scanner, to get rid of nasty bugs
5) go into Single Player Vice City, Press pause>options> Display>take your Draw distance down and turn your Frame Limiter Off
6) DeFrag your Harddrive using any Disk Defragging progeram.
Sickness and myself use Auslogics Disk Defraging program
Available here

Have fun :)

If you're PC hardware is not capable for running Vice City smoothly, there's not much to do.

If you want to take the maximum performance from your PC hardware, I suggest you to format your hard-drive and re-install your Windows. This way you can make sure, that the problem is not on the software side of your PC.

If you are interested in this solution, I can provide you more information and hints for the Windows reinstallation.

get TinyXP ... it uses 32 mb RAM and leaves the rest of ur RAM to play games!

32mb is nothing these days

or get Linux but its complicated to understand how to get WINE workin and terminal shit

i got TinyXP with the vista theme ;)
it had worked for me like a charm sine i only have 256MB ram and regular windows chugs along to a breakdown 1 hour later :S

A piece of advise from me. If you own the computer with your brother then do not start doing format c, even more if your brother handle's these cases. Tell him what is your problem with MTA, he might help you.
PS: I don't trust Kaltsu nor anyone else when it becomes to making computer running better :D
