Dear friends and fellow community members,
Recently it has come to my attention that one of our long-time friends in the community, DHR.Mike, recently went through a very saddening situation. As a person in multiple development and leadership positions, this has put him in a place where continuing his work becomes incredibly difficult.
Yesterday, his computer took a turn for the worst. After a long discussion with him, it seems the computer is not fixable, as it has suffered some extreme damage due to a failure in parts, including the Power Supply Unit. This has forced him to temporarily use his mother's laptop, which is obviously lacking in power and availability to him.
As for the topic title making a reference to this topic, I'm looking for other players out there that may be willing to help donate some parts they may have laying around so we can build this guy a new system. I know many of us are techno-geeks, so we often tend to have extras floating around. Is there anyone out there that may be willing to help me with this?

Best Sugar, I understand why you do this. But there are alot (and with this mean ALOT) people here on argonath that have a PC that can 'luckely' handle GTA or they dont even have a PC that can. If we help one guy, we have to help everyone (thats how I see it) I understand that you want to help mike, and everyone that can feel free to do so, but if you can do so dont just do this for one person (PS: Mike is from dutchland)

I don't see an issue with starting something to help out other players too. I'm just trying to get Mike back on his feet because the only computer he has access to right now doesn't belong to him.
As for other players, if someone wants to contact me, maybe we can set something up in this board for a "fund" of sorts for parts to be shared amongst people. :)

I would like such topics will never appear anymore on ArgonathRPG forums...
Also I would like players, who have no money and wanna get from friends - connect to friends personally...
Why?
There are a lot of players with the bad computers... Are they worse then Grzesiek?
It is personal computer, so it is a personal problem that should be fixed personally...
I also do not want to see the Army of scammers, that will start ask for money on Argonath RPG...
And to Kaltsu... Wanna help your friend - send money... But do not ask from other people, especcially those, who never saw Grzesiek... If it is your business does not mean it must be a business of all forum and GAMING portal...

This is not about donating money. I clearly said this is for donating computer parts, which Aragorn made no reference to at all. His references are to players donating money and getting scammed over it. I'm talking about people donating used parts to recycle them for others.

The principle is obviously the same. Please stop acting in a childish way.
Shall I remind you again that you might not unlock your own topics? Ask for a 3rd moderator to check the situation.

May I remind you that calling someone childish is offensive? Please give positive responses here.
As for the principle being the same, it's not. I'm not asking for people to help out each other to scam, nor am I asking anyone to involve money in this. I'm asking people that are willing on their own to donate things they no longer have use for to others who can make use of them. That is called recycling.

Topic locked. The same principle applies. If it's needed, start a telethon. This isn't the place.
