Title: Best gaming mouse under 50$
Post by: Exterminator on January 15, 2013, 10:54:54 am
Note: Has to be compatible with Windows 8

I was looking for a good gaming mouse but got severely confused, hardware is usually not my cuppa tea.
Could somebody please help me pick a gaming mouse?

It needs to have button(s) on the side that can be linked to keyboard shortcuts and should be relatively medium in size(Not too big, not too small).

Could anyone please refer me to some good ones? Please.

I would personally just taking any Logitech mouse that looks good to you. I used G500 for years until it broke recently. Logitech makes some really good mice, but make sure you check compatibility and reviews, to see if you can actually make keyboard shortcuts.

Agreed with Logitech brand - G400, G500 and MX518 are great models

I would recommend this: http://www.amazon.com/Sharkoon-FireGlider-Gaming-Laser-000SKFG/dp/B009OY0NJQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1358266233&sr=8-3&keywords=sharkoon+mouse (http://www.amazon.com/Sharkoon-FireGlider-Gaming-Laser-000SKFG/dp/B009OY0NJQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1358266233&sr=8-3&keywords=sharkoon+mouse)
I have been using it for over a year. Solid build quality and high DPI for the price.

Very easy to switch between different DPI settings and the extra buttons are in easy to reach places. No clutter. Rubber grips on side as well.

Only problem, is that I do not know if it supports Windows 8.

People, keep in mind that something that costs 50$ outside India costs 75$+ in India. Unless exterminator has got someone to bring it for him from outside India, suggest him that would cost 50$ in India...

Not sure if you already bought something, but I can recommend the Trust GXT 35 or its wired brother GXT 34. A friend of mine has it, and it's one of the best gaming mouses I've used. I personally cheaped out and bought the GXT 25, mainly because I thought that looked a bit better in terms of design, but also because of the price. I disrecommend the GXT 25, but the GXT 34 is great, especially for its price. Somewhere around $30,- I think.
