I have an idea. It would be a nice RP opportunitty and a new job to the server. When you enter a Cherry Pooper Ice Cream Van you can start a mission. People who want icecream will type /c icecream. The van will go there and deliver it by a cmd like this: /c order. An ice cream would give you like $10. I hope this idea gets accepted and discussed

whats the difference to existing situation ? u enter a cherry popper and rp that u start "your mission" , ask via /ad for deliverys , and get by /buy icecream 25 $

No need for script when you can aswell roleplay it. The opportunity was always there, it's only a matter of imagination. You do not need scripts for everything.

Hey Luca, I think others have already pointed out the best way to get this idea working. But just a quick bit of advice, if you need it - if you're finding it difficult to find buyers for ice cream or any other food/item for that matter, which are not scripted, but can be roleplayed, maybe you could take the ice cream van and sell other products from it too. Perhaps other snacks, like donuts, drinks could be added into the bargain or just sold separately.
(Plus, those that have played the GTA VC single player may remember the "main" use for that van... :P)
That way you don't have to feel like you are asking money, essentially, for nothing.

Although I like the initial idea, I have to agree that it can be roleplayed. I also see a direct issue with the idea itself from which you have no way of running it like a mission if there is no way to confirm purchases, or know who wants to buy ice cream. You would theoretically still be forced to advertise it and wait for someone to type a command, which then you would have to drive to them and they would have to use another command to purchase it. This would unfortunately defeat the purpose as it would have the same effect as roleplaying it, but would make it more complicated.
Something like this would work if you were selling it to NPC's/peds, like in single-player, however it's a bit more difficult to do in a "Mission-style situation" in a multiplayer server like this.
