Hey everyone,
We all know this is a interionell server, but when it comes to forum. We should have a native chatboard added here on Argonath forum, with all kind languages (Sub-forums) that would be good for some users who cant speak/write in english and wants help or just want to chillout with his own country. Then that person can write in his own language sub-forum and make a topic. Argonath got players from all kind of country. But we can try to add Argonath top 30 most top country.
If you prefer to chat in your native language, then hopefully this is something you should support =)
Also in Native chatboard, you can talk about everything not just things related to SAMP / Argonath.

Why would someone put effort in this community if he can't speak English?

International server. Do you know what that means?

English allowed only.

Yes, but that is only ingame. But when we are outside like at forum. Then why not speak our own language? So this Native chatboard, would be good. Like you if you want to talk about something only related to Sweden, then all swedish people can talk about it instead for open a thread in public for all. If you know what i mean...
This Native chatboard will be very helpful for some users =)

So you want to create a board for 30 languages where people can speak in their native language?
Here is the main issue: Rulebreaking control. There is not enough time available to the staff to have to constantly check Google translator for flaming, provoking and other rulebreaks applicable from the various foreign languages at play here. The forum staff have enough of a job to do.

English allowed only.
In the main chat. That does not apply to private chats in the servers.

It's possible to do, but would take some organization. MTA Forums pulled it off through some dedicated, native multi-language speakers, but I think it may be something we'd have to hold off on until our own current forum moderation issues are fully resolved before it could be successful.

There is no such thing as "normal English". Every language has it's own variations and dialects in different countries. Take Spanish for example. There is Mexican Spanish, Spain's version of Spanish, and various other forms. Same thing with Chinese. You have Simplified and Traditional. They are all the same languages, just in different forms of one another.

We are talking about the forum here, not a private chat in game.

What you quoted said "international server". That is from an in-game server, not the forums. The forums are not a server.
-
Opposed. The english language binds us together and is what made this community a great one. Let's not divide it up by giving everybody a board in their own language.

Let's not divide it up.
-
Supporting, creating new board on forum where people can just speak their own language wont divide it up, some people who can't speak english well ( i know few of them ) can relieff and find uses of forum. It will bound people from same country more. And what about rulebreaks on those topics, people are free to use report if they see any rulebreaks, and there is at least one admin from all of those countries i think.

The forum isn't international?

Quoting your message isn't an answer on my question.

Native Chatboard is also good if you want to share news from your local area in your country. Then discuss it.
This board is dedicated to people that wish to speak in their own language. Then If you wish to have a board for your language/country, then just request it.
Or as i said... add Argonath top 5-10 most top countries, who logs in much in Argonath also that is much of them.

Sugar already answered the question you just asked it in different wording.

There have been many cases of people with poor English skills who found themselves with better English after spending some time in this community.
Currently, English as the global lingua franca is what fosters communication between the many players from different nations. It has proven to be a unitive factor. Encouraging people to speak all the different languages in this community rather than taking the initiative to learn (or at least understand) a satisfactory degree of English communication will only serve to divide, rather than unite it.
This does not even take into account the manpower and resources required to monitor all the different language channels in order to maintain order.
So in the end, this is not worth it.

We should atlest try and add it for a month =) Then we can see the diffrent, if that is good and useful or not :/

I guess this is similar to my idea. :o

If you look at the different Ideas boards, then you will see that adding random ideas for a month on a trial-and-error basis is not* how our development teams work.

I suppose this ties in with another of the discussions going on in this area of the forums right now.
Perhaps, as this idea may suggest, it would be good to have other language areas for specific parts of the forums? i.e. For casual discussion purposes, local community chat etc...?
You could find other platforms to engage in that, but if it helps many players Argonath would not be opposed to it as such.
If the need + demand is very much there, then I wouldn't see why not, especially if the plans were to move forward into other languages and regions around the globe.
