So, my dear community, I'm pretty sure most of you remember of Argonath Radio, we had amazing DJ's and stuff..
But how is it streamed?
Softwares,
websites scripts.
Can anyone help me with it?
Tyvm in adv.
Peace.

Through .pls files or similar. Most media players can run them. Radio stations offer these files for download and the listener just opens it, and voila.

Argonath Radio is streaming their music over Sam Broadcaster (Most of them, otherwise VirtualDj PRO) And i think it is hosted over Winmap. They pay a for the copyright i think, also the limit of listeniers.

Thanks for the heads up, Hevar_Elitee,
I'll search more about it using as reference VirtualDJ and SAM Broadcaster.
Ty once again,
if anyone has anything else, everything is welcome..
- Love from Kev.

You'll also need a server, something like SHOUTcast (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SHOUTcast).

Exactly this for the server portion. People confused it with Winamp above, which actually just hosts the client-side ShoutCast mod for DJ's, and isn't the actual server application.
http://www.shoutcast.com/broadcast-tools (http://www.shoutcast.com/broadcast-tools) is a good start for information on it too.
