Title: Pancher goes to Miami, Florida

Now im shortly leaving for another vacation trip and this time it goes to the United States, again... This time it will be Miami, Florida and im looking for some tips of what to do while being there if someone has some experience?

I will be going to Key West and i will have a rental car for a week during my two weeks stay! :)

I have asked around some friends from Miami since I plan on going and here are some things I have picked up:

- Everyone speaks Spanish
- Everything is very expensive
- Driving is as stressful as driving in india
- Beaches busy

I will update if I get more info!

Post by: Seskom on February 23, 2013, 01:21:57 am: I was in Miami two months ago, to be honest I drove to Key West, but I got there so late it was already getting dark and had no chance to do much there and had to head back to Miami.

Driving in Key West was not so bad yet if you decide to make the long way to Miami beach then I'd advise you to prepare for huge traffic jams next to the beach. Key West had many activites regarding water avilable so I'd advise to check them out :P Also in miami there's this thing called "pay by plate" and "Sunpass", you should not enter the lanes which are sun pass but pay by plate lanes will cost you about 2-3 dollars each from what I head if you don't have the card, I drove thru it couple of times they later charged me for it. Alligators and airboats are another thing that might be fun for you while you're there :P
