Title: (ARMA II Free)Error:Shader model 2 not supported anymore
Post by: Loader on February 26, 2013, 01:15:53 pm: Idk why this happens to me,on other sites i saw that you need to buy another video card or something,but i can not afford that right now,i can run hitman contracts(i forgot what was the name but i can run GTA Sa and hitman blood money) so i was thinking i can run Arma II as well,if its realy to problem in video card then idk what to do,if you know any other option to fix that..some kind of program to run the game or something.. i will get new pc but still didnt find the specs to find the PC(if you want to help go to...Buying new PC(if you know what kunas are and if you live in Croatia))Pls help me.Thank you.

- 512 MiByte RAM
- Graphics card with 256 MiB VRAM and Shader Model 3.0

Recommended Specs:
- Windows XP/Vista
- Quad-core processor
- 1 GiByte RAM
- Graphics card with 512 MiByte VRAM and Shader Model 3.0

To run this at maximum you need a beast computer

Post by: MrTrane on February 26, 2013, 08:17:37 pm: Your graphic card has Shader Pixel 2.0 technology and the game needs Shader Pixel 3.0 to run, you can go ahead and try to trick it with SwiftShader (http://transgaming.com/swiftshader), the game will run at least but I guess it would be laggy and unplayable.

Video card: GeForce 540M 1GB VRAM CUDA.

It's an ASUS laptop. Pretty nice system.

ALWAYS run steam as an administrator if you use Windows Vista and up :)

Try doing an integrity check as well if you use the steam version.
