Title: Public Apology of Nathan Aldebourne
Post by: Aldebourne on February 28, 2013, 06:51:29 am
Good evening, everyone.

My name is Nathan Aldebourne, known on forums as "Nathan" and in-game as "Nathan_Aldebourne". I am quite a veteran member, been with the community since May 2009. Since that time, I have experience many things on Argonath, from family love of the Gvardias, to the hate of being an administration. Various of times I have been helpful, but many times afterwards, I simply "burned out". I was tired. Tired of helping. So approximately in November 2012, I began removing all of my useful topics and replacing them with triangles, simply for the lulz.

I, first and furthermost, apologize to the community for ruining useful topics. I was in no power to remove my own useful topics and should have not reacted in this manner. I did not realize that these topics were important and now realize the importance of being able to serve this well community.

Secondly, I wish to apologize to the forum moderators and to Gandalf himself for wasting time on this idiotic situation. I should have not reacted this way and will never do the following again. Furthermost, I will work for the community and will not ask for anything in return simply because I wish only the best for this community.

Third, I will replace each and every topic with a better and more useful threads and will make the user experience much easier and better for all the users. These threads will be better designed and will take some time to accomplish so please stand by on this.

Lastly, I wish to have my forum account "Nathan" unbanned. If you look at my in-game and on forum record, I do not have ANY serious infractions besides this last one. I wish to have the ban removed.

Thank you for understanding,
Nathan Aldebourne

Under the conditions of removing the ban - It states that you may return to your normal account if you intend to act like a normal player in the community.
(By Gandalf)

By taking this apology in consideration, the ban is removed and you are now able to access your normal account.

Welcome back.

Welcome back Nathan, everyone deserves a second chance.
Only if you're a popular player in Argonath do you get one, everyone else is simply swept aside.

Obviously not everyone deserves a second chance though.

"Argonath gives equal rights to new, experienced and admin players. We do not discriminate between players, and having admin rights or being a long time player does not give any of our players rights to act as better, higher or having more status as another."

We're lucky that this is a community where everyone is worth the same.

Welcome back Nathan. I didn't even know you did this, but I see no reason why you shouldn't be forgiven for it. :)

The only reason I could think of for you to stay banned is because you use these hipster fonts.   :D

Just kidding, of course.

Neither can I but it's something thats happening everyday, it's not even really just players doing it, admins are actually miss-treating players, treating others different and/or punishing people because of a personal problem, you could just say 'send a report to [email protected]' but I'll just ignore that, if Argonath is such an open and fair community players should be allowed to speak out, but that doesn't happen either, if a player speaks out he/she gets community banned and completely cut off from everyone to maintain Argonaths 'order', it's kind of like a government which has it's secret service kill someone to shut them up.

And if you want an example of the above, refer to my forum punishment, I spoke openly, and SugarD ran off crying as he usually does before hiding behind a punishments system, most people should know that I don't shut up when punished though, infact punishing me makes me want to speak more, I'm probibly on the right path to getting community banned myself, as speaking openly is not allowed if it's against something put in place by the community's management or against something which it supports.

Well bro , all what you just said is true , but if someone want to say something there is a nice way to say it , like if there is a bad admin I think Most of players say like " that admin is shitty he don't know to to Judge" , but in my Opinion I think we should tell our problem face to face ( not IRL) like using forums PM or IG PM . :)

All in all, you don't like the administration for god knows what reason.
You don't like how we deal with players or interact with players.
You still play here though.

Why do you play on a community which you show so much negativity towards? Highly illogical if I do say so myself.

I didn't say I don't like the administration.. Infact you're one of the few I think are good at it.

Why do I play here?
I've played here since 2008, was the only decent server I could find, but over the years it's changed.

So umm... make an unban request (or stay denied for the period that was assigned to you) and sincerely apologize like all the others. Or should you be treated differently because you're from 2008?

Good to see you're back, Nathan.  :)

If an administrator mistreats players drop a forum PM to a leader or an email, it isn't taken lightly.
Even if you think nothing has happened, I can assure you something will.

Now let's get back to the topic which was an apology.

I didn't say anyone should be treated differently because of how long they played, I just said I found Argonath in 2008, and it's changed alot since.

It happens alot with quite a few administrators, it's something that managers should have noticed by now.

More and more playeres start to understand the truth, the rest are just being dumb and refusing to accept it.

Not really, infact:
New players: uhh, f**k them
ARPD officers: go suck a dick you abuser!!!
SAPD officers: omg i must patrol with him and asslick him if i want to get accepted in SAPD
SAPD high rank: omg i must asslick and act nice to him if i want to get promoted
admins: omg admeen!! i <3 u make me kid pls!!
managers: wow you're god!! i must asslick ya if i want to be admen
suspects: oh that guy again!! he's a fucking dmer all the time suspect!!
Thats what makes people not say thier opinion about the truth.

Also something a guy sent me in PM:
Owner (All the stuff)
Community Leader (All the stuff)
Manager (Almost all the stuff)
Administrator (can ban , kick, warn, and take a lot of admin actions)
Moderator (Can take admin actions but limited)
All the dark blue cops (always with no exception protected by those on the previous ranks)
Freecops (30 percent of those are also protected by those on the previous ranks, the others are mainly new players or veteran criminals that got "instantly" cop banned)
Citizens  (No any right, not protected by anyone, renegade, abused and judged by everyone, main target of witch hunting.)

You can deny or accept it, but thats the truth.
