Yo,
Last night I bought GTA3 cause I felt like I missed playing it, so I bought it over Steam. And since I have a widescreen laptop (1920x1080), I changed my settings to widescreen and the size of the "gamescreen" to that!
The graphics and stuff is awesome and the widescreen is perfect, but one thing, when I'm not in a "tight space" (a "room" with a low roof" or in a car, I get the GTA2 playing feeling, I see the game from above.
Showing in this video
Grand Theft Auto 3 bug (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Afhf7jAahs4#ws)
I would like to be able to play normal so I wonder if anyone got a solution on this?
It's a bit annoying to play like this, if I want to do that, I would have installed GTA2
Help!

It's a camera style, change it with V or whatever the key is for camera

Dude that VIEW is awesome!

You also have the dark car glitch that comes with the Steam version.

This is your problem. Your on-foot camera is set to the helicopter view. The lower roof areas force the camera down when the helicopter view can't display your location well enough. The vehicle driving view is also separate from the on-foot one, hence why it changes when you enter a car.

Okey I was a bit retarded, of course it was heliview :D

No worries man. It's a commonly-confusing mistake because GTA III offered the camera view as a nostalgic testament to GTA I and II.

Yeah, although the car's handling was so different from older versions everyone just kept flipping with that view.
