Is your life aspiration being a journalist, photographer, or anything associated with cameras? Well, you will fail and die a miserable death, but before that, you can make your dream a little more true! I have developed a small mod for VCMP which will spawn a camera inside the tool shop near VCPD station, as well as near a drawer in VCPD station across the jail cells. (First one intended to be used by tourists, second by FBI investigators)
I tested the mod with Lherekov and Legend, it's crash-free and won't cause any problems. The camera is fully synced and if you aim with it you make the same animation as with sniper. So, happy roleplaying!

Amazing Marcell.

Great mod bro.

Awesome thing :)

Doesn't this replace another weapon, though?

No, all it does is simply add the camera into the game.

Looks like a neat lil mod. :)

No, camera is fully usable in VCMP syncwise etc, but it seems they just forgot to add it as a functional weapon (there's no way to spawn it in server scripts, etc), however if say, you added it through cheat engine, it was perfectly rendered in-game (others saw you holding it) and if you'd kill yourself, others could pick it up too, all my mod does is spawn the weapon in the game, VCMP already synces the rest

Is it using the camera from one of the single-player missions?
Edit: Nvm, just missed Marcell's post.
Awesome. :)

Splendid!

I'm gonna try it!

Absolutely amazing, great job. Only 1 problem: When I get the camera and try to aim (RMB), the character doesn't do anything. He just stand there and if I move my mouse, I can move the camera observing my character without moving the character himself. I cannot actually aim with the camera (like in SP). Any solution? :)

Great job, working fine

VCMP bug, it does work good if you aren't around people.

Sorry but I can't fix this. VCMP edits how the first person feature works (on M4, Ruger, the sniper rifles) yet they didn't edit it on the camera to make it compatible. It would be most likely possible to fix it, but it would require some C++ hacking into game (so in the end it'd be an .asi plugin) and that is simply beyond my reach. However what's weird is that when I tried aiming the camera on a server with no people online it worked fine.
