Before you read this, if you have not read the topic about Drugs and Food, you should check that first otherwise you will not understand some elements of this topic such as "Food Units". You only need to see from the 3rd page if you can't be bothered reading the whole thing. Food and special scripts for drugs are discussed there from that page.

You should be able to store things at places you own. For example, if you have a house, you should be able to store things that you have there:
Food/Drugs-
As you lose food/drugs when you die or leave server and there is a limit to the amount of food and drugs you can buy, there should be a way to store your goods. The most RP way would be to store it in places you own, for example your house. I would not suggest car as people will be always using your car whether your on the server or not so realistically, you would not be able to store stuff there as people should just be able to take it.
One advantage of this is inflation. With the idea I proposed in the Drug and Food topic, people will be selling food and drugs as they please and will try to sell as expensive as possible to get more profit. Due to the nature of such a system, there could be inflation so the smart thing to do would be buy a lot of food and drugs when they are cheap, then store them in your house or shop. You could then wait till prices begin to rise then sell of some when you feel you could make a good profit. This saves you money, allows you access to food and drugs easier and is also a good investment if inflation kicks in.
Weapons/Ammunition-
I'm not sure whether to discuss storage of weapons and ammunition as that gets a bit too complicated, if you think I should discuss it, please let me know.

I don't really know what you mean, I haved played on SA server.
I would say that burglary of stored goods should NOT be implemented in VC as it is way too small of a map and so people can get throw many houses in no time. SA is much larger in comparison so burglary would be better there.
If I said something wrong about the burglary tell me because iono how it works in SA

Ok, so I'm going to explain
To begin this Odd Job, you must enter a Black Boxville at night and press the R3 button. There is a Black Boxville in each city. The one in Los Santos is located in Idlewood, across the street from the gym in the neighborhood directly to the south. !!!NOTE!!! You can only begin the job between the hours of 8 pm and 6 am (20:00 to 06:00).
Once you have started the job, you must find a house to break into. Search around the neighborhoods to the south and you should find plenty of homes to break into.
Anyways, pick a house that you want to rob and exit the Boxville and enter the house. This works just like the "Home Invasion" mission. Look for objects that look like they are worth something and hit Triangle to pick it up. Take the item outside and put it in the Boxville. There are a few things you can steal, such as televisions and stereo equipment. Each house usually has two things to steal in the first room.
When you are done burglarizing, get back in the Boxville and drive it back to lockup (just like you did in the previous mission). The mission will end when the timer runs out, anything in the van that has not been taken to the lockup will be lost, so try and head back with around a minute or two to spare.
took this from a site.
