I installed VC on my new laptop and went for a try at my new A4 tech X7 mouse. when to my surprised the bullets were going like 2 cm out of the cross hair, totally unsynced.
but the right mouse button aiming is normal, how to fix this, I'll post pics latter.

Google it, there may be some compatability patch or something. I just started playing MTA again. I'm glad to be back... a nice break from SAMP

I googled it, but seems like none has this problem or else, they think it's normal and that it's just bad aiming.

I'm exactly the same as you, I got a new laptop with Vista, I play VC and the aiming is off a few mm's.
It's to do with because Vice City wasn't designed for Vista I'm pretty sure. So of course there are going to be bugs.
I was on server last night playing with my PS3 controller, the aiming was terrible, I couldn't kill Ghost or !ceboy unless I aimed the crosshair at their right leg. Then I tried aiming with the mouse, still the same.
Its compatibility issues.

i have the same problem too but i fixed it.
in options, display settings try turning off widescreen if ur laptop has a widescreen like mine. Things are going to be stretched but ive gotten used to it. at least i could aim properly now.

Upgrade to XP!!

Your comps sucks.
Upgrade to the almighty XP and see the sucky vista fall to it knees.
Vista sucks. Xp wins!
-
Just look under my sig image ;)
-
Your monitor is telling you LIES!
XP rules... It's more stable.
-
VISTA sucks, but XP sucks aswell!!!
Who haven't caught a virus on XP?
I bet all of you who talk wonders about XP were talking wonders about windows 98 when XP was released.
And those are lies, cause XP runs slower than Vista, cause of the service pack2, plus you all have firewalls and AVs, a good OS doesn't need those resource spenders to be protected.
Look at Linux, now that you can say, it's a stable virus free OS.
And from my experience, XP is not more stable than Vista. Maybe as stable, but not more.
I own 3 computers, 3 different windows, if I has to choose one, I would go for the win 95
"Like all engineers say, KISS is the way" and stick to Linux, if thats what you're looking for.
BTW, I asked for a solution to Vista, and it is not uninstalling it.
Your comps sucks.
My computer doesn't suck, it's brand new.i have the same problem too but i fixed it.

Thx very much for a working solution that doesn't include uninstalling VISTA
