So they just released Fast & Furious 6 and there's already the installment coming up in hardly more than a year (July 11th 2014). Who of you watched part 6? What do you think of it? How's the 7th part going to be?

I watched before 3 days the part 6 . It was a nice one , but I actually prefered the Tokyo Drift and the Fast 5 from it ... The 6 didnt have so many races .. too much planning and such . About the 7 . I have not seen any trailer or read anything about it but I hope it will be like a revolution between them . I expect new members in the team and either a bigger goal as criminals or a bigger goal as "policemen"(helping them) . Also newer cars ;)

They departed from the racing plot long ago. You won't get any more races like in the previous installments.
I watched it yesterday. I must say I was more than pleased with the movie. I would definitely call it one of the best action movies of all time. The Rock and Vin Diesel's fighting scene against Owen Shaw and Klaus had my adrenaline pumping like never before, quite literally. The stunts were brilliant. And a major plot mystery is revealed during the credits scene.
I'm eagerly waiting for Fast and Furious 7. :)

You can consider Statham's phone call as the first indirect trailer  The character who is played by named guy [Statham], will be Owen Shaw's brother, obviously paying back on one member of the team ; Han. Races probably will feature in the 7th part as that one will take place where it all began ; Los Angeles.

Klaus is kinda ... funny to look at, of course disregarding his mass however
EDIT : Reports say that Han might have found a way to survive that explosion. Now that might be ridiculous unless they can rectify his escape off the car properly.

I really would like to see Han survive that explosion. He's one of my favourite characters for his casualness, haha.
Jason Statham plays Ivan Shaw. And... we can expect to see Lucas Black (and maybe related characters) in Fast and Furious 7.
It will be one hell of a movie. :)

I also like the "action"and the fights ... But from Fast and Furious I expect races...drugraces...drift...stunts and such ... If I want action I watch James Bond and Mission Impossible .... I just would love to see some more efford in the racing than in the fighting ... And yes the story actually makes them get clean from the crimes ... but still I 'm hopping to see more racing and cars in Fast & Furious 7 :)

just come from the cinema, i want more cars and races, not fight every time, it looks now wrestling more than cars movie

it's gonna be interesting how they're gonna do number 7, all what i thinked was tokio drift 2 but with vin diesel and the others in up against statham

I just hope they have made a good story and script for the seven. With a bit more than a year to go, I hope they don't rush with the movie.
-
There is a new director and they don't have to rush that much, since -from what I heard- a bit of part 7 has apparently already been withproduced while actually producing part 6, as they said that they had to split 6 and 7 as it was too much for one movie.

fast and furious 1: racing, racing, cars, racing... and more racing
fast 5: guns, guns, tactical squads, explosions... and more guns. not one scene of proper racing (even the bit where they go to win the cars, we didn't get to see the race).
still, i do want to see fast 6

What about the 10 seconds classic race with the copcars at Fast 5? Though I get your point. But Fast 6 is totally worth it.

My brother worked on that movie. :conf:

doing what :oo

tbh, Fast and Furious series died for me after Tokyo Drift.. Only the three first are worth.. after those it became Cophunter* and Furious just like Cops'n'Robbers, rather than a movie based on a nice story and cars.

According to imdb he was a lighting tech director. :rules:
-
I love the character progression of the series, it's great that everyone's not just racing anymore.

One of the fewest who's not stubbornly sticking to the first installment of the movie

I'm so eager to watch Fast 7. Last night I was watching The Fast and The Furious, fell asleep halfway through. I WILL be watching all of them again, as some sort of recap. This will be very interesting. I am happy how it drifted away from just cars. I always loved this series.
I would like to add that the runway was defo going across Europe

Cheap shot...

So I visited the Fast 7 IMDB and it stated that Han is in the cast.
From Sean Boswell's view(Tokyo Drift): He was running towards the direction of the vehicle (passenger side) and the car blew up but I believe someone pulled Han out of the vehicle just a few seconds before the explosion. Sean was running therefore everything seemed a bit 'blurry' for him?
From Ian Shaw's view(Fast 6): Ian rammed Han and stepped out of the vehicle, dropping the necklace (which I believe is Dom's?). The camera then focuses on Ian walking away from the scene on the phone which then questions that maybe yet again someone quickly dragged him away from the vehicle but Ian was walking away and didn't notice someone was helping him out. He heard the explosion and thought that is that.
From DK's view: He witnessed the crash, witnessed the 'boom' and drove away in quick succession. I think he was only waiting for the explosion, didn't pay attention to the surroundings.

Of course, Han will actually return and contribute to finding the guy... I suppose.
