Anyone played it yet? Just got it three days ago and I can definitely say it's the best exclusive for PS3. It was created by Naughty Dog, the creators of Uncharted series.

I haven't played it yet but I will for sure do when I get my hands on a PS
-
I just got it, and I have to say, it's pretty fucking awesome. Although, some aspects of the gameplay is still.. "meh" at this point. It's a pretty darn difficult, too.

Yep agreed with you. I just finished the story yesterday, I'll try to play it on survival difficulty.

The first game in a couple of years that I was really looking forward to. Reminds me of Alan Wake.
Getting it ASAP.

It's definitely worth it's money, I recommend it to anyone who has a PS3. Developers are working on two more sequels, as it seems it's going to follow the steps of Uncharted.

Makes me wish I had a PS3. The Xbox "counterpart" to it (if you can even call it that), State of Decay, just doesn't compare.

Although it's a neat looking game, I actually don't even want a console. The main reason is that I've invested pretty much :money: on a decent PC setup. (and I know I'm not alone with this) As said, the game looks darn nice, so it's kinda sad. The city with all the restrictions and fences also has strong Half Life 2 -feeling on it.
Offtopic: Is it the piracy or some kind of console-companies "sponsorship" towards game developers that makes certain games available only on consoles?

No. Sony basically owns Naughty Dog, the developers of The last of us. They are making a lot of money by restricting it to PS3.

Naughty Dog's awesome. Enjoyed playing the Uncharted games, so hopefully this is of similar quality.
-
Hoooly shit. I finally found some time to sit and play this more, and it's difficult to put down. Everything (besides the gameplay) from the smallest graphic details to character development is far above my expectations. I'd say it's a must for all PS3 owners.
-
Couldn't agree more. Without Naughty Dog studios PS3 would be much less popular.

Same here. At least, I would much rather play the game on PC than a console. I only have my 360 now for games like FIFA 13 anyway.

Exclusive titles exist to make a lot of money for that specific console, and also to promote it. Take the Halo franchise, for example - a massive selling point for Xbox.
Both the PS3 and Xbox have some excellent exclusive titles. It's a massive pain in the ass because I wouldn't be able to afford, nor would I be interested in owning both.

Yeh, you're right. Now when I think of it more, there are quite alot console specific games.. Well, I quess just gotta stop thinking of all those good games then. :P
To keep it from going too off-topic, I'll suggest watching PewDiePie's walkthrough of The Last of Us (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYH8WvNV1YEnNVnJb5ZXxDCE2HDAVVo4M). Especially if you only got PC and are not able to play the game yourself, this series will surely keep you entertained. (On some friggin' creepy parts I was quite glad that someone else actually played it.. heh.)

The game is just amazing, and I have to say it must be the greatest singleplayer game I have ever tried.
I wont say too much about the story etc, but one thing is for sure - if you have a PS3, buy the game!
-
If in the next sequel there will be offline co-op and 3D Simulview, I am seriously considering getting PS4 just for this game.
-
I wish i had a PS3 D:

I have no words to describe this game...I'm speechless, the storyline, the gameplay..Everything was just great! What impressed me was the storyline, I won't lie :$
