I want to make a little poll to see how many who actually are afraid of thunder, I came with the idea because it's a shitstorm around here I'm at the moment! :D
So, are you afraid of it? Answer! :)

I used to be scared of Storms of such kind, and then there was one morning where we had a Storm with a mixture of things:
-Fork Lighting Strikes on the Neighbouring Church(es)
-Standard Sheet Lightning
-Quiet Bangs
-Loud Bangs
-Earth Bangs (Huge atmospheric ball of static that vibrates EVERYTHING, makes you cringe and sets of car alarms)
Ever since then, I have recorded several storms and just thought of them as lights and music at a party or something like that. And then there is the point that only a week ago, I was flying though a fully charged electrical storm somewhere over Western Europe (AKA 1 hour before touchdown in Bristol, UK)

I really enjoy the thunder and heavy rain. I enjoy every minute of it. In fact I'm sitting here hoping that we get this severe thunderstorm. I just don't like when the power goes out but if it does then I just deal with it and enjoy the storm.

Ah, that is nothing compared to what was happening inside of the clouds I flew through :P
That sounds like it has been there for a few hours and is moving away

I would cry if I ever heard an American say there were scared of a thunderstorm... It happens on such a regular basis over there, it is kinda hard to be scared of them hahah

Check my video I made for like 5min ago(main post), the shit is now right above me, thanksfully, we got wind turbines pretty near so if it goes down, it most likely goes into one of those! :D

Haha, I've seen worse too! But it's pretty fascinating, right?

Not scared of it, just annoyed by it.

I have not seen a full scaled electrical storm from the ground for a few years though, so in away, I would be pretty glad to get one soon, Bristol Needs one!
This is only one of the 10 strikes we got, but here is the MINI storm we got a little while ago:

Personally if I hear something like thunder, I run like hell to go outside and watch the show.
and speaking of storms, this is something we get every summer in Arizona.

I wouldn't mind seeing how bad America gets with these thunderstorms... The ones there make the ones over Europe look like chickenshits

I had thunder strike within 1 meter beside me when I was younger.
I promptly got back into the car.
But no, I'm not scared. It only annoys me when it starts. I hate it because I turn off my computer and plug it out as well as the router when it starts.

I find lighting, thunder, and rain quite soothing and relaxing :)
Unless its the thunder that is so close and loud that it rattles your house.
-
I love rain and thunder :-D, Lightening scares me a little if it is close by though

I live in the Tornado Valley origin, and it rains almost every other day here during the Summer. And it's not light rain either, its huge winds and a lot of rain, and sometimes hail too.
3 weeks ago, killed a mother and her daughter in a vehicle.

To be honest, I actually like thunders
Whenever we get one over here, I lean on the window and watch, although thunders are weak over Portugal

This, plus when its raining and there is thunder i usually go out and start running to train its the best time to train for me.

Once at holliday a friend of me ran trough a field to get to his own home with a umbrella and got nearly hit by the lightning, pretty scary.
-
My phone, internet and TV got hit by lightning a couple of days ago...
-
Absolutely love it.
-
It's nothing to fear, when you start being scared of it is when you become paranoid..
