Title: Why is not Cruise control allowed in Argonath?
Post by: Mr. Goobii on July 31, 2013, 12:21:22 pm
Why are we not allowed to use cruise control, so when you speed, it stop in a certain limit. It gives no advantages more then be able to hold the speed limit, which I see as something good.
Has the matter been discussed before and why has it not been approved?

I tested a Cleo mod for cruise control a while back, everything seemed fine although there was one issue with it which could be exploited badly as it "pressed" down on the car when enabled which affected the handling.

I remember I had a Cruise Control mod (not even CLEO mind you) long ago back in 2009 (SAMP 0.2), which was working fine... Until the moment I realized that the limit to raise the constant speed is nonexistant. I went with my friend in a Police Cruiser and started setting a higher and higher and higher speed limit until we started laughing our assess off at whooping 400 mph(kmph?).

Unless it doesn't have this attitude, why not?

Any game modifications that can give a player a certain advantage is not permitted. (or any modification giving other players disadvantages)
