Well, I'm not really sure if it's just temporary IP but for the ones who don't read other boards on the forum - world.argonathrpg.eu:5192 . Hopefully this helps.

The odds are that it's official, but I haven't been given any confirmation myself yet. Gandalf hasn't contacted me so as of yet it's all still unclear to me what exactly is going on, although it has to be said I've been told countless times that Argo was in search of a new host so this may be it. Stay tuned.

Whenever I try to enter this server, it freezes right at the moment where it's supposed to show the skin selection.

The odds are that it's official, but I haven't been given any confirmation myself yet.
Gandalf has confirmed that this will be the new address for all the servers except SA:MP, however I think he's still working on resolving a number of issues with the servers yet. We might just have to wait a couple days and see what happens.

Ahh, I thought my mods were bugging the game, good thing I didn't reinstall it.
Hope it's fixed soon, it's so irritating seeing the server up but not being able to play D:

According to Stormeus and Gandalf, it's an internal issue within the server program itself where it stalls instead of crashing, leaving the Managers and Developers of VC:MP unable to do anything until Gandalf physically enters the machine and manually restarts the program.

It'll likely be fixed in the next version of VC:MP. I'm not sure if the Squirrel-version server is affected or not, though. I don't believe it is, but we can only hope.

At first VCMP server was down because all the Argonath services except forums and TS were down, however, one of the players donated a Canadian host for the SAMP server until everything is sorted out, therefore out of all the servers, only SAMP was properly working.

As for now, I hope the server gets back up soon.

So the server is back? Yaaay!! But I got a question: Will I be able to access my old account from previous version? I played months ago and I am just wondering, because I dont really want to start over again. Thanks in advance for the information. :)

No, all stats from 1.9 were wiped. Everyone starts clean in 2.1. The BETA stage is still in progress though, so stats don't really mean anything at the moment.

Good to know everyone stars from zero again. I really miss vc:mp and I think I really needed a fresh start, As soon as my vacation is over I may consider starting playing again, would love to roleplay with all the old and and new faces of the Argonath VC:MP community. See you guys in game!

Hey, those who have tried to connect to the server in the last 1-2 days may noticed that it seems to crash after making it through to the "Connection success. Loading network game" screen.

The good news is that it's not a problem on your side, meaning the bad news, the server itself seems to be bugged preventing players from going beyond the connection screen altogether.

Hopefully it will be a quick fix.

Yeah, it's just too bad.

Many people seem to have a lot of commitments outside Argonath at the moment. Will be great to get things going again over here.

There's no ETA known. You just need to wait patiently until owners get the things going in their side.
