Title: SA:MP loads singlepayer
Post by: Paroxysm on November 09, 2007, 08:36:36 am: I start up SA:MP like normal and join Argonath like normal but when It starts it loads that GTA:SA screen then goes to

- Start
- Options
- Exit

and I click on Start and it says

- Start New Game
- Load Game
- Back

I tried Uninstalling and reinstalling and the same thing.
I tried Installing SA:MP 2.2 and it works but noone is on the Argonath RPG Server.
I tried rebooting my Computer
I tried to shut down my AVG and still didn't work

Help!

Atm argonath has 2 servers and we are working to find bugs and other stuff at the 0.2.2 server, But you can still play at the 0.2.2 server.

But all the players are playing at 0.2.1 server!

Yesterday i even logged into Argonath, and today it isnt working. WTF?

It has to be a bug.

And isnt the new scripts coming out SA:MP v0.2.2. I can play on there.

Just tried that. And It loaded the Single Player :mad: Man this is so annoying.

I have no Idea whats causing the problem. So I dont know what files to get rid of.

It was working fine yesterday morning.

Yes! Oh my god...I did update mine too. It must of been that! :war: [avg_smiley]

And no mods installed either...

Im going to Uninstall AVG and Reinstall SA:MP 2.1 to see if it works. I pray it does :pop:

You can only turn that AVG Free Control Center off.
I have no idea how to turn the "protection" off.

I was working with Kojak, preparing to go in game and get my stuff switched to start work as a trial mod, and about the time we go to climb in game, I realize that 2.1 had opened SA Single Player, not SA-MP.

So, I tried again. Same result. Trying re-installing 2.1. Same result.

Then, I went to install 2.2, and it worked fine, but when I went back to 2.1 so I could access Argonath, it continued to open single player, not SA-MP.

Kojak suggested that I wipe out all existence of SA-MP on my computer, and re-install from scratch. I did so, and continued to get the same error.

Overall, my trial as a mod is being delayed because of this, not to mention that I can't get on Argonath whatsoever.

If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Follow these steps:

1.Open AVG control thing
2.Press resident shield
3.Press properties
Note: if you dont see properties, right click on resident shield then you should see it.
4.Press the second tab and add the pad C://.*your pad*../gta san andreas
5.Restart your computer and enjoy :)

I tested it and it works!

Turns out i had the UK version of the game so i went to argonathrpg.com
and downloaded the U.S no-CD patch and it works fine now ;)
