Title: Fraps problem

Whenever I start Fraps and start recording I start to lag like shit, anyone know why?

And if not, anyone know something else I can record gameplay with?

You can record with MSI Afterburner, it's pretty good too, and free.

This is a known issue with FRAPS itself.

As for the suggestions, did you find one you have decided to use?
