Tonight, we are proud to present a new game mode,
the Rock Stars Retro for IV:MP
Many here may already be aware of the up- and downhills the IV:MP project has faced in the past years. Some more catastrophic than others. But yet these, we've had our great moments. Today, on September the 1st, we will be presenting a new great moment in IV:MP history to all you, the players. Not a long time ago, the IV:MP Developer Team, those who make the client itself, announced a complete re-design and re-scripting of a new client. This means that they will begin building a new, more stable client from completely scratch. This is where we, the Argonath RPG IV:MP team members decided to take a step back and launch a new game mode for the old client T3. While this is a step into the past, we've created new scripts for the T3 client from scratch to produce a game mode called "Rock Stars Retro".
It has been a tough and rocky way for not only us, but also to you - the players. This is when we want to thank you for your patience and heart-warming enthusiasm and encouragement that has driven us all forward. Without your support, we would have not been here to fight forward and continue our hard work and what it has meant to Argonath RPG and IV:MP.
This is also a good time to congratulate our eager members of staff, as with this release there has come also many promotions as well as newcommers to the team of IV:MP. From within our administrator team, GFBMMC (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/index.php?action=profile;u=15610) has been promoted to Administrator and Senate (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/index.php?action=profile;u=12277) has been promoted to Manager. Alongside them new members have joined to the administrator team such as Paul (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/index.php?action=profile;u=9180), Hess (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/index.php?action=profile;u=754) and Casper (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/index.php?action=profile;u=18546). Also a scripter on trial, Armelin (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/index.php?action=profile;u=3978) now joins the scripting team officially after working very hard alongside Tai and other members of the scripting team in order to produce this game mode for all of us to enjoy. Last but not least, a very big thanks for making this possible goes to Ben_Hells (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/index.php?action=forum) for hosting the IV:MP server for now!
