Title: Grand Theft Auto IV crasing each 20 minutes
Post by: Mircea_Niko on September 06, 2013, 10:43:07 pm
   Hello.

 The title says it all. The only mod I have is ELS, latest version. In rest, not any modification. I removed the commandline I was using, this should be the problem?
 All the files are correctly installed and placed, I tried running LaunchIV.exe or w/e as Administration, still crashing.

   Thanks in advance,
      Mircea Niko.

   Is there any way to except re-installation of the game? And if I re-install it, am I going to lose all the savegame data? If yes, is there any way to backup the data?

Just backup the GTA IV files for Documents.
::: Documents(My Documents)--->Rockstar Games-->GTA IV-->savegames

If you have the game installed correctly it should prompt you with a window saying "Remove save-game data?" during the uninstall process.
