ThePirateBay wont be down though. Since it's hosted on the same server as the political party which is named Pirate Party and if they wanna take down The Pirate Bay, they also have to take down the website of the political party, which goes under a law that forbids such action; Censure of political propaganda/action.

So basically, TPB is protected under Swedish law.

Oddly according to Wikipedia that party is officially registered here but I never heard anything about it.
