Hello Argonathians and citizens of Liberty City,
as you noticed the server recently turned down caused by some machine issues. Luckily this unexpected
downtime comes just in time. For a longer period now it is planned to move the IV:MP server to a new machine.
For those who are unaware of our engine, here a short briefing:

Argonath IV:MP is running on "Gamel", a machine of Azellus Games who's owner is Sauron.

We are moving to a machine that is known as Gamex and handled by Argonath Network. More information
about Argonath Network can be found in News & Announcements boards.
This machine allows us to control the server easier and faster than in the past, as we have no other access
than server files.

As we now got to move a lot of data and files, the downtime will be extended. We expect the server to be
up in the upcoming 24 hours, but do not promise anything.

Update:

The server is currently back up, but could be unstable until all configurations been customized correctly.
Please excuse any possible loss happening due to unexpected server restarts!

Um.. Game State is saying that the server is up and there is 1/32 player in it but I can't find the server in the sevrer list.. may be buggy?

Is data transfer still going on meanwhile server works ? I see the host has been transfered from Italy to Germany

We have that lag spikes for a few secs and pings raised up abit , hope thats temporary  :pissed:
