About what we do, the some of us who Like to keep roleplay and OOC distinguished.
In some other servers, instead of doing
/l (( blah blah blah )) (which takes forveer)

They have a command that acts like /l chat, but autmatically puts  (( )) Around your chat - signifying that its OOC
its /b

In Character
This is how it would look
/l Hello Gandalf, how are you today?
[TCL]Hayden: Hello Gandalf, How are you today?

Out Of Character chat
/b Hello Gandalf, how are you today?
[TCL]Hayden: (( Hello Gandalf, how are you today? ))
Also:
*And as a Roleplay server - its kidna bad that Roleplay isnt enforced anywhere, it hurts me inside, cause i love seeing when people Roleplay - and someone comes and acts like a crazy guy and comes and ruins it for everyone and admins cant punish/take action for it.
Not just RP scenario's - im saying in general..... Who stops at a PD and throws tomatoes at cops?

Here is a Very very very small list of the things that ruin it for everyone...
*Some werido jumping on FBI Trucks
*Throwing tomatoes at Law Enforcement
*Throwing dounuts at cops
*Pissing on cop cars
*Flying planes into LSPD not even RPing it
*Parking all over the sidewalks
*Driving like crazy ass people (i dont care about that, just the accidents that happen to people with nice cars all the time)
*Running to a group of people and punching them (plauseable in RP - in my eye's... just some dumbass who is punching people)
*Floating helicopters above LSPD for no reason
*Randomly towing peoples cars
*Randomly towing cop cars away from the parkings
*Just doing things you wouldent in real life

Just to name a small few things that should be taken action upon as non RP cause its ruining all of our roleplay and ruining the 'roleplay' aspect of Argonath RPG's Classic RPG style SA:MP Server

Guys, be realistic, You are NOT going to have a shotgun holstered to your leg (shifter )
Pistol/deagle is fine, cause you have pants/belt to pull it out of

shotgun - AK-47 - M4 - Big guns
they would be in a car or trunk - not in your ass to pull out

hayden, its in a little place called west belfast, but instead of tomoatoes they use stones/bricks

 

however, i become increasingly frustrated when i am not able to contact someone because they have no phone, and are inside.
it should be law; "any citizen of argonath who does not own a mobile phone is to be ass-raped by a donkey...or anto...."

The only down side I see now in no pm's in buildings is the passport tests, I thought it was a really good place to do the passport test in city hall but now you can't pm inside so you must do it outside.

The only way to do it inside is /l chat, but when you have more then one person inside they are going to see the questions and answers, If you can only pm in city hall buildings or make some other command up so only two people can hear (tester and citizen) that would be good for passport tests.

I like the SMS idea, people with cell phones should be able to send and receive sms.

 maybe a /sms command where people in the /w area will see this: *Christ_Corleone* types something into his Phone

after I just did /sms [5555] hey Daniel, what do you think about this guy? he telling the truth?

this way it brings Real life aspects of contacting someone behind their back's ( them being the people around you ) but only if they are close enough to see it.
