Hi,

My laptop has been pretty slow for a couple of months now.

Pages take a little longer to load
Start up used to be faster too

I use CCleaner to remove registry's and clean up the PC. I do not have any unnecessary programs running in the background. I use Google Chrome.

Any ideas to speed up my PC would be appreciated.

Maybe re-install Windows.

Don't cry for what is lost. Smile for what still remains.

Try running Hitman Pro and removing any programs you don't need. I think you might want to get your HDD replaced though, it may be getting old. SSDs are pretty cheap now, and hopefully it should be rather easy to replace. If you have a desktop computer and your HDD isn't big/full, you can just clone it, so you would have everything just the same - just a bit faster.

No mercy for the weak, no pity for the dying, no tears for the slain.

I already removed programs I don't need. My laptop is only 2 years old, I doubt my HDD is starting to die out. I have a laptop, it would take so much effort to change it.

Maybe re-install Windows.

I hope that's not the case.. last resort I suppose.
