Due to increasing the level of crimes in these days ( robbing / kidnaping / heists ) i would like to suggest :-
- applying the firearms license system which is : no one can buy a legal weapon from a weapon shop ( the one behind FBI HQ ) before getting a firearms license.


*the civilian use it for Self-defense

*the civilian get a license by applying for it and pass the test.

*when he use this legal weapon for such crimes the license taken from him and he should wait a period of time till get another one.






How can (RP) criminals buy weapons ?
-they can buy it from NPC dealers around the map.

-So, they should get ( automatically ) suspect by FBI for Weapon Traffic.


What is benefits of this suggestion ?
-Doing such crimes require harder planning. Specifically for how to get arms.
-this will make it easier to identify illegal weapons by law enforcers.

*all allowed weapons be available at both , ( Shop , Dealers )
*if the ( Weapon Traffic ) suspect , killed / jailed = the weapons taken from him / if escaped = the weapons remain.
*firearms license appear in ( /registration id ) to make the law enforcers able to know if the civilian allowed to use weapons or not.
*civilians should have passport to apply for firearms license
*civilians can apply for firearms license in its topic ... then get in-game test.

Mmm... It would ruin even the small RP Argonath has nowadays. Why? Noone would buy weapons so often, means no RP crimes as murdering, kidnapping etc... Everyone would just have a fear to lose their money & weapons.

Only players who have passport can trade weapons between players, isn't that enough?

Why should we force another test on players when its just not needed.

Those players who RP and i do mean real RP don't even use guns they have 1-5 ammo just so you can see they have weapons, so its only for show.

Players who wish to DM will use a poor RP as excuse and DM in lines of the rules, nothing can be done there.

Situations like pay us XX ammount for the hostage you have 2min after that the hostage is dead thats the poor RP im talking about.
 And Yeah it will end in a blood bath as ether police or the kidnappers will shoot at other side and moan about lack of RP. "police just shoots no RP" "kidnappers only kill hostages no RP" seen all this messages after poor RP excuses for a DM fest that they call "kidnappings"

In any case a license for guns wont change anything.

There are police officers that buy Those kind of weapons so that means we will be more restricted of Way we want to Roleplay.

besides the IV-MP Stuff, you mean we cant buy from ammunation or a gun store? only from NPC dealers?

As I understood, that's what he meant.

Well, I don't think that is really useful.. as @superh2o  mentioned before, only players who have Passport can buy weapon from Ammunation. Which means the Passport is the license for those firearms.

just so there is no miss information, no you don't need a passport too buy weapons from NPCs or the Gun Store, but you need passport to trade weapons between players.
