So I lately saw lots of folks who instead of approaching using roleplay ways, they would just send me PMs asking if I want to buy their drugs. Both the parties (the dealer and the customer) would have more fun if the deal would be done in a roleplay way with actual /me's.
-WAYS TO START OFF SELLING DRUGS.
The reasons you'd start selling drugs is completely up to you. You can do it because you want some spare cash on the side and you're too lazy to go either trucking or fireman, or you're bankrupt and need money by any means necessary. Building connections and get loyal customers is kind of hard because of the large ammounts of dealers, therefore you need to come up with some creative ideas yourself and manage to find your customers. However, if you're stuck and can't find any, just spark some random dude you see by APPROACHING HIM IN A ROLEPLAY WAY and eventually bring the subject on the table. Don't go straight saying "Hey dude, you wanna buy my stuff?" because it won't work (at least, not everytime) instead try building a trust with them first, maybe by asking for a cigarette/lighter and stuff like that, and once you feel you have his trust, bring the subject on.
You have two options after this, asking for a consignment or buying the stuff yourself. If you're dead broke, it would make lots more sense to consign it and matter of fact, it actually builds a lot more trust between a supplier and a customer due to the fact that they're dropping the ammount of weed/heroin knowing that you could never interract with them again, once you pay for the drugs and then sell it yourself for profit.
-MAKING TRANSACTIONS
Once you found your guy to sell the stuff to, make it in depth roleplay because it's very booring to just use the commands and drive off. Allow them see the product, allow them taste it and stuff like that. Use actual /me's to make it more interesting.
I don't know, be creative. Don't ask your customer to meet in front of the LSPD or City Hall, instead ask for a place like the Las Colinas, East Beach parking lot and places like these, where there won't be witnesses and whatnot. It also enhances the feeling of the on-going deal when doing it more underground rather than in front of the LS Bank.
-HUMBLENESS.
This is all up to your character's mentality. You have two choices right here, take the humble approach or the guy who talks way too much. If you're a humble drug dealer, you'll most likely stick to the moves in silence and won't tell to many about your business going on, but to your close ones. It consists of never bragging about what you're running and try keeping it as low profile as you can, because you never know when other dealers feel their customers are being stolen and it might not end up well for you.
Alternatively you let it all out and suddenly from a poor guy you turn into a mad money and get excited by the fact that you're making loads of money by selling drugs and start splashing them here and there, telling all your friends what is going on and not giving a shit about who knows you're doing it, trying to promote your business by being so obvious. This will potentially lead to people be jealous of your business and you know how it ends.
-AVOID GETTING SCAMMED
We've all been there. We all met dudes who want to get their hands on your merchandise without paying for it so they can have pure profit when selling them further, we got scammed too. You, as a dealer, don't want to get scammed because not only it makes you loose money, but it also ruins your reputation among the other dealers who will make fun of you for getting scammed.
So I strongly suggest you do some researches about your customers before doing the deals so you won't end up scammed in the end of the day. It's all up to you how you're going to do the researches, either ask around and see what's up with that guy, see if he's part of any groups which are known for being scammers. However sometimes it might turn out that he is not a scammer, yet he decided to scam you this time so you need to be really careful. As most of the dealers do, for the first time you deal with someone you should say that you're doing half-half due to trust issues and then you can proceed doing direct deals without half-half once you trust that person.
The best way to get your customers (from my point of view) is making them enjoy buying them from you. Come up and be more creative, roleplay more in depth and make the other party have more fun when buying them from you. Back when I was buying drugs myself, I was usually buying from those who were actually roleplaying the deal rather than those that just give the weed, take the money and drive off. I didn't write a wall of text because it would be booring and I only wrote some tips and ideas.
