I'm trying to reach out to those who enjoy the firefighting profession in the server...particularly those who play it often and have fun roleplaying it. Are there any suggestions you have, or ideas you would like to share to get other firefighters roleplaying better? I'm currently in the process of rebuilding VC:MP FDVC after some major internal changes recently took place, and I want to know what our Volunteer Firefighters think. I'm also trying to find better ways to attract them into joining. Those willing, suitable, and dedicated can even have a chance at leadership positions within the Department to help aid in the organization of the profession!
As it stands now, VC:MP FDVC is without a Battalion Chief, which leaves me in an awkward position of trying to oversee it from a global and Department standpoint, (of which is not easy given the number of divisions I am already watching over in the community). Eventually I would like to find someone that can earn this position so the Department has direct oversight, and can help build itself up. Unfortunately the previous Battalion Chief is no longer a part of the Department, and no previous staff existed under him, so it makes this that much more difficult to accomplish.
