So there are people who use SWAT 24/7 instead of going regular cop when SWAT gear is not needed. I believe that's a problem as what you end up with are people getting mowed down by M60s whether their heat is 1 or 999.

I think there should be a way to limit the usage of SWAT in such cases, as it really gets annoying for the people who try to, for example, roleplay a chase but instead get killed in the first 15 seconds. My suggestion would be to make SWAT available only when someone has a high enough heat level, or when there's a mass RP going on, in which case it would be allowed by an admin.

This doesn't happen that often, but better defuse the bomb with 2 minutes rather than 2 seconds left, eh?

SWAT already has regulations and limitations to what they can and can not do.

I have yet to see people who abuse M60s and such on unarmed/low heat suspects.

If you see people abusing SWAT to take down people for driving recklessly or just generally patrolling as one, feel free to throw a report to me and/or Klaus and we'll talk it through with axxo and the reported person.

As Brian said, there are regulations to SWAT usage, which should be "restricted" until there's a high profile criminal (illegal weapons, bankrob, smuggle, bloodbath against cops etc you get the idea).

This topic now remains unnecessary, locked.
