Arma 2 Epoch pulled a good amount of players in the past, so did the Arma 2 COOP Evolution server. (ran by Jaaskaa and Chase?)

I guess we could poll this again if the current Arma 3 server isn't active?

The upcoming extension, Arma 3 Apex with a new map and units is also an interesting option, which could pull players outside the community and increase the active member count.

I'm up for anything that could expand the community. A lot of our servers have seemed to attract people from other server within the community rather than attract new players. Not necessarily a bad thing for versatility, but it would be great to see fresh blood.

I played the server daily. And for a loooong time. The only time stuff went to waste is when we started switching back to epoch and chernarus map. Otherwise there were active players. Really wish you could put it back up!

ArmA 3 is where people are at right now. Specifically the exile mod. Problem is most of Argonath / Paruni community cannot run ArmA 3.

While it is possible to bring the overpoch server back, no one will likely join it because most of the ArmA community has moved on to ArmA 3 or DayZ standalone.

I remember the arma 2 server always had players there. They all left cause assets were not being saved or buildings kept dissapearing... something like that.

I believe Argonath will be back as soon as the exams are over.
SA:MP server is currently in a decent state with a stable player base of around 20-25 people on a daily basis.
