DOB: 20th August 1985
Place of Birth: Palomino Creek
Story: Julio was born to humble beginnings in the town of Palomino Creek. Due to personal family circumstances, he was raised by adoptive parents.
As a child he was exposed to an unusual environment, his adoptive mother being a nurse, his father a county sheriff. Due to the nature of his parents work he would often find himself home with a babysitter, and as he got older, became used to being left alone, having to fend for himself for the majority of the day. This led to Julio moving out of his parents home at the relatively young age of 16, whereupon he fell onto a bad path, briefly crossing paths with the notorious Stracci crime family... this encounter ended poorly, culminating in the Stracci family don, NitrOx, attempting to execute Julio at the town locally known as "El Castillo del Diablo," or "The Devils Castle." Julio was found, and nursed back to help by the kindly locals. At this point Julio was hellbent on revenge, and were it not for the next stage of his life, things may have gone very differently...
After being nursed to health, Julio was encouraged to try and track down surviving family members, which resulted in a tiring search, but a successful result. Julio tracked down an individual he suspected to be his brother, Ben Blake, who was based at Fort Carson, coincidentally working in a similar role as Julio's adoptive father - a county sheriff for the San Andreas Police Department. After an emotional first meeting, Julio was encouraged by Ben to apply for the San Andreas Police Department in order to work alongside him. And so began the legitimate stage of Julio's life, a period he considers as his most successful and his happiest years to date.
Julio was accepted into the SAPD as an Officer for the Dillimore Police Department, working alongside his commanding Officer "Swig." Swig was a kindly man, and the closest to a real father figure during these years that Julio had ever had. Julio rose to be a Senior Officer in the department very quickly, and helped train new cadets, leading patrols and operations across the county under the watchful eye of Swig. During this period Julio accidentally came across a family cousin, Roman Collin, and built a strong relationship with his side of the family. But all good things come to an end... Swig left San Andreas for unknown reasons, and shortly afterwards Dillimore Police Department was closed in favour of there being only three key divisions, LSPD, LVPD and SFPD. Dillimore Police Department was the first true "family" that Julio had ever felt a home with, so it was with great sadness that Julio handed in his badge and chose to follow a different path, leaving the SAPD, and DPD, behind him.
Julio felt that as an independent citizen it was difficult to make a real difference to the community. During his time away from law enforcement he successfully opened both a Gas Station in San Fierro, and a Binco in Los Santos, but neither venture gave him much satisfaction... he was however fortunate enough to build enough funds to buy a property in the middle class Richman area. Under the guidance of Roman Collin, and various other key law enforcement figures Julio had met along the way, Julio was able to direct his need to help the community by applying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he was initially accepted as a cadet, and after many months training, became a cadet, and finally being promoted to a full Agent in May 2012.
Julio spent two years in the FBI, befriending many Agents, and was quickly identified as a pillar of strength within the organization, being promoted to a Special Agent. Julio at this time was at his happiest investigating crimes within the community, and had no desire to be promoted to any further rank as he felt this would have reduced his time in the field and increased the amount of time spent behind a desk filling in paperwork. During his time in the bureau, Julio was able to spend time undercover in some of Argonaths most notorious crime families/syndicates including Stracci amongst others. Julio worked tirelessly and was able to make a significant dent in the drug producing/distribution side of the Stracci business. After two long years in the bureau, Julio was unfortunately pressured into leaving the agency due to an injury as a result of a motorcycle accident.
During these last few months of Julio's time in the FBI, he came across another group of cousins collectively known as Kolta, with whom he primarily interacted and came to love and respect. Julio was honoured with the request for him to use Kolta as a family name, which he accepted happily, knowing he would never feel alone again.
Post leaving the FBI, Julio took an extended break away from the nation of Argonath, and went abroad, building his network and attempting various business ventures... none of these took off particularly, and after fully recovering from his injuries as a result of his motorcycle accident, Julio returned to Argonath with the intent of again serving the community as a member of law enforcement...
Julio got into contact with the new Chief of Police, Rashid King (Drix), and was reinstated into the SAPD as an Officer in April 2016. Julio's continual hard work and dedication led him to being promoted to an SAPD Senior Agent in early June 2016, less than two short months after being reinstated. At the moment Julio is heavily involved with training new cadets entering the force, and is primarily interested in activities that use his specialist skillset, namely, investigation and internal affairs. He is always looking towards the future and is open to new roles both within, and outside the department should they come calling.
