Need some help with SA:MP

few weeks ago i bought GTA SA on Steam. playin single game is going fine, but im having some difficulties with installin SA:MP.
the problem is that i have GTA SA v3.00, and this version is not compatible with SA:MP. i tried downgradin, but they dont have downgrades for this new version. so my question is: can i play SA:MP with gta SA v3.00??

:ps: SA:MP only works with 1.0 - This patch makes SAMP think its 1.0
