Idea for subway

This is only a suggestion for a simple subway thing.
You know all those times when you would log on / spawn in the middle of the city w/o state cars? And there are NO taxi drivers on the server!  Well, this could solve it.

The suggestion:
There could be a yellow circle at subway stations in game (similar to ones in shops). If you think the subway would be "crashy" or something, place the circle on the upper part of the station (the entrance above the ground). Every station could have a name (similar to the ones in singleplayer). Players could use the following commands:

/nextstation - takes them to the next station after the current one.
/previousstation - takes them to the previous station before the current one.
/travelto [station name] - would take the player to the specified stations.

Travel could be done by teleporting the players at certain coordinates by the script, so no actual trains would be required.
The script would say:
[PA system]: This is [Station name] station.
(On arrival)
[Player name] boards the train.
(On boarding the train)

The script could take a ticket fee ($10) for every time you get on the train.

hmm.. sounds interesting though im kinda not sure if it would be that usefull,it also could be abused, think of it this way this system is implemented and there was a for example kiddnaping building is near the subway they run out get in the station teleport to the end of the map where they already prepared evasion vehicles

Actually, I think this is a great idea. It was suggested before I believe, but it has been buried in the tomb of other ideas. I think the trains will need to run as a ghost, meaning that you still have to wait before the train arrives and that it takes some time before you arrive at the other station. So no instant teleportation to the other station, but that you will need to wait 5 mins before the train arrives or that you need to wait 5 mins before you arrive at the next station.

The idea is great, and I believe it will be useful. However as James mentioned above, there should be a delay, you can't travel from station to station instantely, however the time should not be long, I believe 5 mins is kinda long as you can arrive there with car in less than 3 minutes. It should be 1-2 minutes in my opinion.

I support this idea, but the delay shouldn't be more than 3 minutes ( 5 minutes will take forever to wait ingame, lol), beside not all players have their own cars, therefore public transportation will be good additional thing to be added, yet this feature can increase role-play ( like meeting someone in certain subways, etc )
However, suspected players shouldn't be allowed to use such train transportation, cause it can be abused.

Down the waiting time to 1-2 minutes, otherwise it will have the same faith as taxi driver.

I've thought about this idea before when I was fixing pumps and I had no transportation, so basically I was condemn to walk 10 minutes to the nearest state vehicle.

This would be even a greater idea if the state vehicles were harder to get and the personal vehicles harder to buy. They should begin thinking about new car prices, the inflation in this server is huge.

I was actually against those things.... as I said... please dont go all "remove state cars" and "make cars more expensive". I think that money IS still hard to get on this server... It was for situations like I described. No vehicles and no state vehicles in sight and you have to go somewhere. You could make the travel time 1min.

My only answer to this would be:
Do not allow suspected players to use the subway system.

They actually should be allowed to use it, but with conditions. As long as there are no cops nearby in range of X meters for example. Or a function of stopping the subway by the police officers after he gets in..etc.

There must be a delay between stations, at first. And this delay should also affect the incoming individuals to the subway.

It is a bit complicated, but if it is implemented, and corrected by time to be perfect, it will be a great function in game.

oh that idea is great,it will be helpfull a lot, but the players will never call taxi drivers again, cause going to subway station which is naer u will be more fastly then calling a taxi driver.

Well you are right the taxi job will be no more exist no one call taxi anymore.
