Your definition of Minister of National Security and Homeland protection is just another name for already existing ARPD Commissioner.
Liberty city already has Commissioner Senate.

You failed to understand, Mr. Dockz. This Minister would be responsible for the city, it's not ARPD Commissioner. It's like an LCPD/FBI Supervisor.

Fun fact, there was something similar in 2014. Back then, Captain Tai Izumi, of the LCPD was an ARPD Supervisor. His duties seem very similar to those we outlined, as well as only applying in Liberty City. This Minister would be responsible for safety, and the smooth running of LCPD/FBI.

Also, updated.

Where is your source stating that he was an ARPD Supervisor, and not just keeping an eye on the LCPD from an Server Leader point of view?

So do you imply that the Liberty City ARPD Commissioner is incapable of looking over FBI and LCPD while he is FBI Commander and Division Leader at the same time?

He has signed promotions as an ARPD Supervisor in IVMP. Yes, he kept an eye on LCPD from a Division Leader point of view, but did that AS an ARPD Supervisor.

I'm sorry, what? Where did you pull that out of?

It has nothing to do with them being incapable, just having this Minister would be good for all agencies having a supervisor. Especially when they're going through a crisis.

Could you give me a link to him promoting as an ARPD supervisor in IVMP? I do remember Tai being a Captain in the Department and keeping an eye on the department, but not as a general ARPD supervisor and not as someone who kept an eye on the FBI.

Nevertheless, this is irrelevant for the idea. I do not think an extra position is required for law enforcement, and that ARPD commissioners can fulfill this task with ease. Having another position that should be allowed to see all confidential information would be a security breach in my opinion. The confidential information circle shouldn't be expanded without the need.

As stated by Commissioner Banks during the announcement of ARPD Commissioners, the post was made to supervise the Police Departments of all the different cities (servers) and that's why each city has one representative.
Vcmp didn't get one due to Kessu being there at that moment.
Plus Senate is pretty active and it actually is better than having someone active rather than someone inactive.
In addition, ministers are meant to be at office and its not logical for them to help LEOs in nabbing small time criminals.
In addition, it's highly unlikely that LCPD would take any game changing decisions without consulting with the ARPD Commissiones first.

You should focus on roles which have higher role playable standard and less ingame power. Roleplay is the major requirement here not power.

Wrong.

VC:MP didn't get one because I didn't take the job due to my criminal orientation and I said we really don't need one since Brian has been quite involved with VC:MP and Senate is doing good with also having some familiarity with VC:MP, therefore there does not need to be an ARPD Commissioner from VC:MP.

I understand where you're coming from, and no, Captain Tai Izumi may not have kept an eye on FBI but he was an ARPD Supervisor.

Spoiler for Tai promoting himself to Captain rank with the Supervisor signature:

Liberty City Police Department
02/06/2014

Promotions

Kerbe
Promoted to LCPD Deputy Chief

Mihail
Promoted to LCPD Captain

Tai Izumi
Promoted to LCPD Captain

James Conway
Promoted to LCPD Senior Officer

Signed,
ARPD Supervisor
Captain Tai Izumi
Captain Petr Latch

One of the similarities between the ARPD Supervisor rank and this Minister rank is that they only apply in Liberty City.

However, it's true we've got both ARPD Commissioners, so rather than the duties outlined ATM, he'll still have restricted clearance to classified files, but will be responsible for high risk security situations only.

Such as an act of treason, info may be passed onto this Minister and he can help FBI/LCPD with whatever happens.

ministers are meant to be at office and its not logical for them to help LEOs in nabbing small time criminals.
Your feedback is appreciated, it's a learning experience for us all. Though, you are incorrect here.

This wasn't the purpose of the Minister and I've elaborated a plan for this Minister above that'd work out better.

Will update soon.

All feedback is appreciated and taken to heart.

Sincerely,
Steve McQueen and Ethan Hunt
FDP Command.
