Alright, so instead of opening up Discord mid-game or turning on Chrome and going to Discord by website, how about removing the hassle and implement an /announcement command that'll show the announcements?

It basically shows you the announcements (clue's in the name, goddamn it). Anyone with the authority may add announcements in it and remove it. Basically a remote controlled invisible pack that anyone can access but only the one with the authority may edit.

This script is unnecessary.

Announcements are made in discord through noticeboard, ingame through /ad and forums for the bigger announcements.

Adding ingame announcement responsibilities for us as well is something we are not willing to do.

To stay up to date with the news, follow the forums and the discord and you will know all the announcements you need to know.

I think he means an #echo channel in discord in which people who are connected to discord can contact the players and vice-versa, just like IRC, this is a good idea actually.
