Every time I hear an 80s song (and most likely, that would be a soundtrack from Vice City), I am reminded of Argonath.
Folks,For those who do not know me, I used to play on these servers very regularly (a good 6 -8 hours a day) till 2010-ish. Served as a SA:MP Manager, Judge and I do not remember what else. But that's not why I am writing this. I wanted to shoutout to a lot of folks and tell them I am still alive. I am doing well for myself IRL. Doing well would normally mean being busy and yes, I am. This is why my activity steadily declined and came to zero for a good long while. This does not mean I did not miss my friends here. And it also does not mean that I had an epiphany to write this. Many of you are thought of time and again in life. I am in touch with @Gimli @Murt and Frank_Hawk time and again. As it will be ten years in August this year since I first set foot in the MTA:VC server, I have good thoughts about @Miami @weedboy @AlSforza @TonySforza @Snake and a whole range of others (that list is massive). Certain places remind me of Argonath as well - when I visit Philippines for instance, I think of @JDC . @Aragorn is missed a lot - a lot of what and how I did my ingame tasks were based on how RON would do things. Every time I hear an 80s song (and most likely, that would be a soundtrack from Vice City), I am reminded of Argonath.I am sure that a good part of people on this forum are less than 25 years of age. Something which you will see as you grow older is that everything which happens ingame, happens in real life too. People are drunk for money and power. People will play mind games with you. There are some who will break rules, cheat and argue with lame excuses, just to kill your fun. You will also meet good people on the way, who will lend a helping hand. Argonath taught me a lot about managing people and I have always maintained that.I will sign off saying this - You guys are thought of a lot more than you think. I will leave you guys with a little video I was a part of a good 8 years ago - Cutt3r.
Yoo Cutt3r, good to hear that you are doing well in real life, wish you the best and pop around when you get the chance!
