Hi,
I have a HP Probook 4530s laptop. It's a decent, work orientated laptop, but has one flaw - the battery life is terrible. I take my laptop to lectures for notetaking. I have like two, three 45 minute lectures a day, and yet the battery is almos completely dry by the end of the second lecture, yet all I do on it is nothing but basic word processing and some PDF reading, that's it.
Any suggestions how to improve this? I do set my computer on power saving and shut down all irrelevant software. I run Windows 7 64bit Ultimate, but from what I remember the battery life on Win 10 was even worse. I was wondering perhaps there was a Linux solution for better battery?
I am really out of ideas. Thanks.
