RAGNAROK ONLINERagnarok Online (Korean: ë¼그나로ì 온ë¼ì¸, abbreviated RO) is an MMORPG created by Gravity Corp. of South Korea and powered by Aegis. Much of the background of the game is based on the manhwa Ragnarok by Lee Myung-Jin. The soundtrack is provided by SoundTeMP. An anime was created, Ragnarok The Animation, which is based on the game. Most of the game's mythos is based on Norse mythology, but contains many references to other cultures, such as that of Japan and Africa. A sequel is currently in development, Ragnarok Online 2: The Gate of the World.
I suggest trying it out: many private servers exist too (What are legal in most countries; or the legality is debatable, as playing at one involves hexing a client). The two official servers what I can recommend are iRO (International RO) and euRO (European Ragnarok Online): as for private servers, ratemyserver.net.
The main difference with Private Servers are that they use the kRO (Korean Ragnarok Online) client data: and are therefore more updated than iRO/any other official server, unless they run an old episode of AEGIS (the official server suite, what IS illegal as it's leaked). Private Servers also involve "kRO sakray", the test server of kRO with a separate client, and both can be found from here:
