My mic plays my music...

This is the main reason why I can't be on TS etc. But now it's just pissing me off... I can't even speak with my friends on Skype because my microphone plays the computer sounds instead of the sounds I make, for example if I have music running on the computer, but I turn the stereo off, they can still hear the music and my voice is reeeally low

Place the mic further away from the speakers  and closer to your mouth  ?

Go to volume control, options, properties, select recording (you may have to switch mixing device), click OK.

A new box should come up called "Recording control"

Make sure only the box under Microphone is ticked.

Also, make sure your mic is in the pink slot.

just a little addon, why this happened, every mic is a mini speaker, meaning u can use every speaker as mic(bigger it is louder u gotta scream)

They use this idea for recording the bass drums in recording studios.
