SAPD Police Training program

Hello folks,
I have recently finished work experience with the police and learned things which i think should be shared with others to make the force more effective.

My aim is to provide a police training service for the current and potential police officers within the server. I have learned a number of useful things today and i think it will be better if some aspects of training could be used within the game. These include:

-Basic-

Manoveres i.e fighting situations (striking and blocking)
Negotiation techniques i.e how to prevent and avoid unnecessary clashes such as shootouts and fights when confronting a suspect
Usage of weapon i.e when and why it should be used
Suspect handling

-Driving-
Safety issues
High speed cornering and preventing oversteer
Preventing control loss of vehicle
Spotting hazards before they happen
Pursuit techniques (PIT, Box, Quarter blocking)

-Aerial Support-
Safety issues
Appropriate Usage
Requirments and law

I may also add weapon handling later, it depends how the 'testing stage' goes.

I need to gather a few potential recruiters and i will train them up. If you are interested give me a shout and ill try and arrange a time to train you up. If i think you are good enough to be a recruiter consider yourself part of the recruiting team. Bear in mind i want the final recruiting team to be finalised within 7 days (23rd March)

There are other things i want answered from you guys:
>Where should the training facility be
>How long would you like training to take?
>If someone does not do well, what should happen?
>Should it be madatory?

I will be on the server from time to time usually in the afternoon and will talk to the current cops about this idea so bear in mind you can talk to me about this on the server if you are interested.

Im not expecting everyone to like this idea, and please leave a comment here if you wish. All opinions are welcome.

 If you want I could do a little "Drivers Test" too see how good potential cops can drive.

Thanks for your feedback, yes if i get enough positive feedback ill go into more detail, i did a traffic branch thing today and so i could teach a few driving techniques. Yes i do want to become a police officer when im older, im 17 now but ill go to uni until im 21, need to experience the life before i join up. If i cant get into uni, looks like ill be moving straight in, its thoroughly enjoyable.

Anyways, i appreciate you offering to do a drivers course thing rosskid, after hearing and seeing a few things today i will train you up a little more about the pursuit thing, and then you could be an instructor, it cant be a one man job, so maybe during the next few days if i get a few specialist instructors and train them up that will be great.

 Why should have a program where u have to pass it before u can be a cop in the server, like u sign up here on fourms  I see way too many cops on

  How about the Driveing school in SF or the runways in LS?

  30-40 minutes would be good for basic training, After you complete basic training you could chose too "Specialize" in either Driveing, Air Support, or Weapons these would each take 15-25 minutes, And then "Advanced" courses in each specialty, which would take 35-45 minutes.

  They should fail. They would then need too wait 7 days (?) untill they can try too course again.

>Should it be madatory?
  It should be mandatory for promotions, But anyone can still be a police officer. Maybe we should make this into a group and have it as a joining requirement?

>Other Ideas?
  -After more people join up, We could make more complex training programs. We could have 3 levels of each "Specialty" course (Driving, Aerial Support and Weapons Specialist) start at Basic, Then go to Intermidiate, Then Advanced. We could change the current "Basic" training too be a little bit of each of these courses then they would pick the one they like best and specialize in it.
  -Also, We should start picking officers who we already know are good and train them up, Then they could help us out.

Yes, this police training needed, because there is a lot of newb players, who havent played samp before, or just very small time. They came up to server, and dont no anything about the role play police job, etc.
I would like to join to Argonath Police. Should i write an application or something?
