Should the police force be invite only?

Hello, what do you all think? Should the police force be invite only? I made this POLL post to make it easier to see what everyone else thinks about invite only.

Ive only been playing on this server for 4-5days or so and I have been an police officer 95% of my time and I love it but the worst part is that none respects the police force and they have their reasons not too!
Everytime a new player joins the server they almost always join the police force without knowing the rules and they abuse the /suspect command.

What I also would like to see is

#1, Police force invite only, new players can get invited to join the police force by posting an application on the forums. This will also make it easier for the police officers to get to know each other and have a better teamwork.
#2, A private forum for accepted police officers.
#3, No gang/mafia members should be allowed to be an police officer as most of them use the command to remove suspect levels on their own clanmates. (after all, they have choosen the criminal path)

Also I would like to see some more roleplaying and teamwork by criminals that have become suspects to actually surrender time to time instead of just using it as an excuse to dm police officers.

1.  I can't copunt how many times people have abused commands  or half the server was cops. So yea this idea is good.
2. I guess this would be ok.
3. Definately, I've seen many cops cancelsusepct because "I know that guy he would never ram" or "Hes my buddy". Also today some cop with Cobra in his name sprayed the police with water while they were chasing his friend.

1. Invited by who ? If we can not get enough admins, or people to give out passport how can we expect to have people accepting cops. Also how can you prove you can be a cop if you are not allowed to play ? We saw this idea on another server and it sucked.

3. The cancesuspect was to make it more easy for players to correct mistakes. If it is abused, we will change it to moderators/admins only.

Police invite only is asking for a group of friends paying as cops, not allowing new players in. Better get active players organizing police work.

You think those who abuse police power, will not abuse power on other skins??? like... mafias... Even moderators did not understand what is mafia - thought - if they are mafia - they can shoot everyone they see on their so-called "territory"...

Then lets all groups be accepted by admins... All what will stay - citizens...
So go all as citizens and wait, when admins will check out - are you really good for any rpg team or not...

That was the first thing i saw on so-called RPG servers before we opened our...
And that was the worse thing i ever saw...

In one wave you can cut not only abusers (that will not stop when will play criminals), but also good roleplayers who decided to try out our server and who have to show some admins that they are good for police skin...

Does not matter how vote will be done, I am against special acception for the simple cop skins...
Every player can try himself as a cop...

In future will be changed acception to the army team due to the weapons spawning and some ideas players bring and to 2 cop skins; SWAT and FBI (due to the weapons and bugging the phone calls)... The patrol skins will be the same as it is...

I see a lot fo crying about "bad cops"... And i do not see anyone who HELPS the new players to get the idea of cops role... Instead of complaining - reall, as gandalf said, organize work, be closer to each other, help as partners...

The new players will not listen to those, who are against them and ask to ban them... The new players will listen to the partner, who is fighting back to back and experienced on server....

not allowing new players in? all they have to do is apply on the forum .. shouldn't be that hard for them to do ( and you'll get more forum members  D) )

True as Yesterday the [LSA] Mafia was Shooting all the cops claiming "cops aren't allowed to patrol our territory" and complaining, even an admin (whos name i wont mention) who was part of the mafia was dming, is that right?

Yes, a cop called snowman attacks other cops so they killed him and he gets money from the sue.

About the mafia, I had an admin (Wont sya who) who said I wasnt allowed to buy a house in vinewood becasue it's their territory.

  I like the Argonath PD idea. Maybe if chosen people in Argonath PD, then the /cancelsuspect command can be only used by them. At least then it could be more fair, and the privelage could be stripped. This would require a test similar to Kaltsu's the other day. That was good however needed to move quicker and the poor guy needed more help organising.
  This may also work with heirarchy idea of having seargents etc...

Instead of accepting to the police forces, the ARPD officers will have a possibility to remove rights from so-called "abusers-cops"... So to play as cop can everyone... If they deathmatch or abuse, ARPD will give them a chance to check out what is the police procedure... If they will continue breaking the rules, captains and chiefs can remove their rights to play as cops...
